Vision: Our vision is to be a Jurisdiction led by transforming leaders serving growing congregations and Annual Conferences for the sake of Christ’s mission in the world.
Mission: The Northeastern Jurisdiction of The
United Methodist Church will raise-up
and equip jurisdictional spiritual
leaders to lead conferences,
congregations and ministries to make
disciples of Jesus Christ for the
transformation of the world.
Structure: The structure is made up of four “common tables.” The table image reminds us of the community gathered around the Lord’s Table. We gather in our rich diversity around a common vision and mission. The table is a place of creative, flexible, interaction and mutual nourishing.

The Vision Table: The central table into which all the other tables connect for setting mission objectives, priorities and final decisions and coordination. Also has functions of an executive committee of the jurisdiction.
The Leadership Table: Focuses on leadership development for missional objectives, etc.
The Partner Ministries Table: Those NEJ related organizations that wish to partner in working on mission objectives.
The Holy Conferencing (Jurisdictional) Table: Encourages Holy Conferencing through all of the NEJ Standing Committees
