WE REMEMBER William Boyd Grove who died October 27, 2023, in Johnson City, Tennessee, at the age of 94, secure in Christ’s promise of resurrection. He was a Christian, a follower of Jesus, and a Bishop in the United Methodist Church.

General Conference:

  • Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, North Carolina
  • The Commission on General Conference will eventually be sending information regarding hotels, travel arrangements, committee assignments, etc.

Northeastern Jurisdictional Conference

  • July 8-12, 2024
  • OMNI William Penn Hotel
  • 530 William Penn Place, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219
  • THEME: OVERFLOWING WITH HOPE
  • Program and Arrangements Committee of the Jurisdiction is charged with planning the Jurisdictional Conference. They have diligently started working on the many parts that make up the Jurisdictional Conference. As plans are developed, delegates and reserves will receive further information.
  • Registration and housing arrangements will be available in the spring

NEJ Appeals Committee Information: The Rules of Procedure of the Northeastern Jurisdiction can be found by following this link.  Any appeal from a church trial by the “appellant shall within thirty days give written notice of appeal and the same must be furnished to the officer receiving such notice??nbsp; For the NEJ, any appeal should be sent to the secretary of the Committee on Appeals.  The officers for the Committee on Appeals include:  President:  Jen Ihlo (jen.ihlo@gmail.com); Vice President:  Alyce Weaver Dunn (alyce.dunn@wpaumc.org); Secretary:  Rene Perez (rene.perez@neumc.org).  A complete listing of the committee is found under organization / other committees.
